New Study Smarter Treat-A-Bull!

Hi Bulls!

It’s the end of the semester and finals are almost here. To help you study smarter, USF Dining has put together a new “Study Smarter” Treat-A-Bull. For those who don’t know, our Treat-A-Bulls are designed specifically for our USF Bulls who live on or around the USF Tampa Campus. These thoughtful treats make it easy for parents, guardians, relatives and friends to send a little sunshine to their student while they are away from home. Our treats are a great way to send your bull a “get well” or a simple “thinking of you” from miles away.

The “Study Smarter” Treat-A-Bull is loaded with snacks that were chosen to help boost your study skills. The bottle of water will help keep you hydrated. Dehydration can cause headaches, problems with memory, and a host of other health issues throughout the body. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. If you wait until you feel thirsty, you’re already close to being dehydrated! The snack pack also has pistachios and a KIND bar which have lots of nuts. Eating nuts provides a source of omega-6-fatty acids. These unsaturated fats help support brain function as well as heart health. Nuts are also a good source of protein and fiber. These nutrients help fight hunger and keep you full longer. There’s nothing more distracting than an empty stomach! Other snacks in the “Study Smarter” Treat-A-Bull include a bag of Chex Mix and a Hershey’s Special Dark chocolate bar. Eating chocolate has been found to help release feel good endorphins which keep us happy. Combine this with the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of dark chocolate, and you’ll help reduce your stress levels. What a well-rounded array of snacks to help you get through finals!
